The following three papers explore cultural territory that is completely new to  me. These papers lead up to my capstone project on the Olympics because analyzing the Olympics was new territory to me, and I included analysis about different cultures. By showcasing my time abroad and how I used that time abroad to influence my choice of classes in the United States, I hope you understand how I explore new territory through writing.
