Prying Eyes in Europe
The Bourgeois Revaluation
This assignment could not exceed one page in length and had to summarize the day's required reading. This reading stood out to me because it presented a new perspective on what traditional economics can explain, and how to think beyond traditional economics. In my final project, I use the concept of thinking beyond traditional economics.
This is my first economics research paper, and first team research paper, I have completed. The prupose was to create new variables in order to explain the development of West Africa and its connection to the Atlantic Slave Trade. Since this is my first economics research paper it is important to me as a writer and since I created new economic variables it is important to me as an economist. Finally, the topic of how places develop differently than others has always been of interest.
I took an economics class about the European economy due to my interest in the continent and general interest in economic policy. This paper was to be no more than three pages in length and had to respond to a current event. It is important to me to include this paper because of the many interests it showcases: policy, technology and culture.
