The Equal Rights Amendment

Although this paper is still in progress, I plan to include my research paper about the Equal Rights Amendment and why the Amendment must be passed. As a woman entering the workforce, the differences between men and women entering the workforce are apparent to me and is something I want to explore further. Ultimately this paper is going to challenge opponents of the ERA to come up with better reasons to oppose it.

I want to include this paper because it analyzes the media. This is important to me because of the increasing exposure and amount of media in today's world. Although this paper just focuses on movies and television, I used it to challenge media conossieurs to better think how women in a position of power are represented. In my final project on the Olympics, I also analyze the media but in this case I analyze Twitter. It is separate from my analysis of women in the media, however my interest in media still exists.
